Nobody twisted Bills arm to use. He made that conscious choice. This tune was in Eminor when I last read through it from the score. I am not sure what key this is in since I just have relative pitch. It is a beautiful composition and Bill does a nice job of transforming it. It goes Major on the end.

I like Bill's collaborations with Claus Ogermann, Symbiosis being my particular favourite

God looked upon Mr Evans with great favor to our benefit as listeners and an unequivocal inspiration to those who study and play. In every field of human endeavor there are those who far exceed the mundane and must take their place, alone and unique, at the zenith of accomplishment.Such a celebrated master was/is Bill Evans, the one,the only.

Evans was a superlative musician. Undeniably, his sensibility was classically inspired, while his Jazz was equally refined and articulate.
