Some of the dogs in this video are malamutes and siberian huskies,...not inuit dogs. <- I should know, i live in the arctic

we own an inuit bitch called beth they dont like being left alone they are a lot of work make alot off mess dig up your garden eat your plants but we would never be without her she is the most loving dog you could wish for

There really is no breed standard, I take it. If you find it in an Inuit village it's an Inuit dog.
I know that the Northeast Greenlanders have always guarded the integrity of their dogs but in the Canadian Arctic it was a total mishmash, especially after they all but disappeared during the 60's - 80's with the rise of the ski-doo. I read there were a few places in inland Alaska where they never died out due to the plentiful availability of stockfish and the expense of fuel and spare parts.

i love inuit dogs they are well cute
i think you'll find there is a breed standard, it is on the northern inuit society website. these dogs were bred in the uk, they dont come from alaska. i own 2 of these marvellous dogs.
