When people want to get in this field most want to record music only. You have to be willing to expand beyond music to life off this profession. There are other fields besides music such as stated in the video like animation, films, radio, video games, live stage etc. Some tips:skip school and intern at a local studio. Get with an artist or producer thats prominent and be their sole engineer. As long as they get work so will you.
