Be ready for heavy showers in Moscow over the weekend -- of the cosmic kind. Astronomers say the falling stars -- the so-called October Draconids -- will be visible with the naked eye. On Sunday, you will be able to see a meteor every four seconds. The meteor shower is being caused by a comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner that was discovered more than a century ago. The Earth passes through its sparkling trail every year. This year the heavenly display is forecast to be more spectacular than ever. Almost all meteorites will burn up and disintegrate long before reaching the Earth's surface. For viewing the meteors, it is advised to get away from bright lights as much as possible during the night. A full moon may disturb the observations, as only the brightest meteors may be visible because of the moonlight.
