  • @Larsky1010 you got THAT right--so few people know what a mighty pipe organ (still the King of Instruments, and always will be) is capable of in the right hands, in this case--Geore Wright's--you'd almost have to have octopus arms to be able to pull out all the stops you want for the effects you desire--marvelllous

  • One of my childhood absolute favorites! I played the LP till it was almost worn white! I've always wondered how much was actually Wright playing on the first pass, and what was overdubbed. He didn't have enough appendages to do everything recorded here!

  • I have hoped I would live long enough to hear "Quiet Village" again performed on the mighty Wurlitzer by George Wright on his "George Wright Encores" album--I was surrounded by this and other of his albums--such fabulous music as a small child--it still gives me shivers--anybody out there can help out with more albums or CD's to upload here??
