A 4890 x2 would be par with a 295. A 4890 is equal to a GTX 275 and a 295 is 2 275's.

thanks for all the comments y'all,definetly go with the 4890 over the X2...so many driver problems and im gonna assume you play at 1680x1050,just make sure your CPU and GPU can handle and pump performance..

actually i think 4850x2 sounds nicer than and faster in words than a 4890 ;)
