After defecting, Oswald is allowed to come back to the US, not go to prison, not be extensively "debriefed" by the intelligence agencies but is allowed to run around New Orlean and Dallas playing with the exiled Cubans. And the FBI or military intelligence was not watching him. Ha, ha.
