This is a cover of "Nights in White Satin" is a 1967 single by The Moody Blues, written by Justin Hayward and first featured on the album Days of Future Passed.

Guitar 1984 custom Taylor 815
Standard Tuning.
I adapted this arrangement from one by Dan Holloway.

Nights in white satin, never reaching the end,
Letters I've written, never meaning to send.
Beauty I'd always missed with these eyes before.
Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore.

'Cos I love you, yes I love you, oh how I love you.

Gazing at people, some hand in hand,
Just what I'm going through they can't understand.
Some try to tell me, thoughts they cannot defend,
Just what you want to be, you will be in the end.

And I love you, yes I love you,
Oh how I love you, oh how I love you.

Nights in white satin, never reaching the end,
Letters I've written, never meaning to send.
Beauty I've always missed, with these eyes before.
Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore.

'Cos I love you, yes I love you,
Oh how I love you, oh how I love you.
'Cos I love you, yes I love you,
Oh how I love you, oh how I love you.

Thanks Gwen. This is the first song I have recorded with finger picks. Still feels a bit odd.

THANKS FRED. I'M HAVING A BLAST LEARNING A NEW STYLE. IF IT'S NOT FUN, WHY BOTHER? I CAN ALWAYS GO BACK TO TURNING HARMONY INSIDE OUT :-)
