-
At the height of the Great Depression, two small-town kids from the middle of nowhere became the biggest folk heroes in all America. They craved adventure -- and each other. Their names were Bonnie and Clyde.

Unafraid, unashamed, and irresistible, their daring story of love and crime captured the imagination of a country. Today, the most infamous duo of the 20th century takes aim at a whole new target: Broadway.

Featuring music by Tony nominee Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde), lyrics by Tony and Oscar winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard), and two star-in-the-making performances, this sexy new musical has claimed the Schoenfeld Theatre as its hideout. And after stealing hearts - and rave reviews - from the La Jolla Playhouse to the Asolo Rep, BONNIE & CLYDE is ready to become Broadway's most-wanted musical.

  • @gabegoodman09 end of april! they just announced it on playbill today :)

  • Any word on when the album will be released?!?

  • So amazing.

  • @Eschetic1 I don't know how you can say any of those negatives about this show. How can you say the characters didn't change? We first see them as dead/little kids and then follow their entire life stories. There ISN'T a bad song in the show. There was a lot of quiet choreography. There was action, there was sex, there was beautiful music, understated sets, and one of the best casts ever compiled on Broadway.

  • ABs

  • I saw the afternoon performance on closing day yesterday, and I wasn't expecting much, based on the reviews. But I found the show to be interesting and well-acted, with some very good songs. B&C is as good as many other Broadway shows that have been running for years, so why the bad reviews? Do the critics have some kind of bias against Frank Wildhorn's projects? What is that all about?

  • @GBTDC Unfortunately, Frank Wildhorn is not in the good spirits of critics. The show had a death sentence before it even previewed.

It's sad, I too, thoroughly enjoyed the show.

  • Why the hell is this closing? Its in every single video that almost 90% of the viewers enjoy it...why close?

  • It's been confirmed. Bonnie and Clyde will close December 30. :(

  • I'm so glad I got to see this show before they get rid of it (from the reviews that seems like it will be soon). I loved it so much.
