i have r4 for my ds i thought psp was so crap until last christmas i got a psp and found out the truth.

ds guy just get a Cyclo DS i have one u can put anything music, videos, ton of games and it uses sd cards so tell your psp pal over other that the ds can be hacked is save and is only 60 bucks for the flash card with the sd card included so take that sony!

I personally prefer my Nintendo DS. while the DS doesn't come with media players you can download a homebrew program and have music,DSAIM, a web browser and lots of other awesome stuff! The games aren't all aimed for kids either. one that comes to mind are the Phoenix Wright game series which includes alot of out of the box thinking that most children wouldn't be able to grasp. All around though the DS is great for anyone of any age but it really just depends on personal preference.

the psp has way more battery life than the ds if you buy the new battery. it will last for 10-11 hours
