HiDef: A Tribute to Conrail

If it weren't for the patches and the automobiles in this video, you really can't tell the difference from 1999 or 2009. This video is a tribute to Conrail and a thanks for reaching 1,000 subscribers. I hope you all enjoy because this is DVD sample footage, I caught A LOT more solid Conrail than this, all of that plus this video here will be featured in the upcoming Harrisburg Line DVD / Blu-ray series, hopefully production will start this January. Plenty of good stuff. The DVD samples for the Harrisburg Line, Sand Patch, and the Pittsburgh Line / Nittany Bald Eagle will be posted throughout December.

It is a shame. All the Conrails are probably going to be in Horsehead by 2012. All the Conrails are in YN2 or YN3 on CSX. Poor Big Blue, being the 2 Eastern Class 1s pet.

was this video shot on day 1? when NS and CSX assumed full control or before?

and its weird seeing ditch lights on a switcher, and some of them engines look great in blue just a bit worse for wear.
