Nothing More, Nothing Less One Shot

"Seems like my daughters eager to get married." The bride smiles looking at her fathers reflection.

"I'll always be your little girl..." her father smiles at her as he places his hand on her lower fluffy back.

"You say that like you have an option." They both laugh as she looks at him through the reflection as he smiles.

"You look so beautiful... his one hell of a lucky guy isn't he..." Demi giggles slighlyt as she fans her eyes.

"Yea since he is isn't he, especially since you like him, first boyfriend you've ever approved of." She smiles seeing her dad chuckle and nod.

"Because I know he loves you, I know he'll take care of you. I trust him with you." Demi faces her dad wrapping her arms around him holding her watery eyes.

"Thanks Daddy," her dad smiles wrapping his arms around her almost as if he was secretly releasing some of his security blanket.

"We Better hurry your mom's been telling me to get you downstairs before I got in here." They both laugh slightly since they both knew her mom.

"we better hurry," Her father leads her out tell she looked over on her dresser. Suddenly she flashes to the day it was taken... she remembered the familiar looking boys who use to live next door, she smiles to the thought

8 years ago...

"You think it'll be like this after we go to college..." she lays on her side as she lays her cheek on his arm. "I mean we've been bestfriends since elementary and now were separating for the first time..." he slightly laughs as her.

"Its only a 4 hour drive at least were not all the way across the country." She pinches his side making him jump

"I'm serious," she cuddles closer as the wind slightly became colder, "we won't be able to just climb up the roof and stare out in the stars anymore... we won't be able to just climb through each other's window." She sighs sitting up as she cress crossed her legs looking up at the stars.

"Your really gonna miss me aren't you," she smiles wrapping an arm around her shoulder pulling her closer as she tips to the side.

"you don't even know..." her voice revealed so much more, even he knew... he never realized how fast this was... they were both leaving tomorrow for college. He scoots closer just as she places her legs over his. He lets her arm freely wrap around his waist as he does the same. She softly places her cheek on his shoulder as they look at the stars.

"You know what we should do..." She sets up more as she sees the smirk on his face making her smile.

"A promise ..."

"But we can only open it on the day we ever get married..." Her eyes gave off a confuse look as he smiles reaching over the secret compartment on her roof they built.

"Why, that's long as hell..." She took the white clean small piece of paper and pen from him.

"Because this promise has to be the truth... no holding back alright." She bites her lips smiling at him as their eyes did the secret talking. She takes her legs off him and turns around as they both begin to write... she read it over and over debating if she should put it in but he said no holding back so she didn't... she turns around already seeing him hold out the rusty box. " I want you to read yours before you walk out okay..." she stares at him much more curious on what he wrote.

"Okay, then I want you to read yours before the bride comes out." He nods making her take a secret deep breath.

"what if my parents move by then..." he points right next door. "but you don't know your parents will stay there that long either."

"don't worry about it I know our parents aren't gonna move, and if they do then I guess we'll never know..."

"I guess so..." she looks up almost thinking if she did the right thing...

"Hey..." she looks down to see him so close as his breath tickled her lips, they both froze as images flashed through their head... both eyes close as their forheads touch....just as she felt his nose on hers he stopped... "I...I'm gonna miss you too... a lot, so don't try replacing me" she nods laughing lightly as they both release the breath they've been holding...

"Not as much as I will, and don't worry, they'll never be another Joe in my life... your my bestfriend."

"Nothing more..." he softly whispers...

"Nothing less...." they both sigh hearing the secret messages that'll always be with them together.

End OF Flash...

"Wait...," her Dad watches her walk out her old balcony. She was so determined.
