I look at the gigaminx and all the hollowed out pieces. Then solving, sometimes the pieces snag into these hollowed pieces.

I wonder if it would be any better if I filled those in. It will make the puzzle heavier, but it might help.

I might try it, we'll see.

hey pestvic i got my gigaminx a couple of days ago. About every solve the screws fly out and pops out the center cap and the screw goes halfway across the room. Any advice for help?

are they tightened all the way? or like are the threads grabbing at all yet? the core might be stripped.

@PestVic instead of filling them, you should "cap" them so that it doesn't gain to much wait, gosh obese gigaminxes haha.

Just got my v4 gigaminx and it's totally not worth the money. It turns like crap. While solving, you will spend 1/2 the time trying to align the pieces properly to keep it from jamming up. I've only solved it once and the stickers are already shifting around and peeling off. I don't think i'll be scrambling/solving it another time because it's just not a good experience when you're constantly struggling to turn the sides.
