Two poor children are out collecting firewood when they pass by some stores. They drool over the wares, but hurry away before the owner of a bakery can give them two cupcakes, thinking that he wanted to punish them. At night they both dream up a land where everything is free. When they wake up, it's all gone, but the store owners have stopped by to give them presents!

this was my favoutire cartoon when i was like, 5.my mom didn't make alot growing up,so she only had vcr and tapes.one of these tapes someone donated to us was this one..in a way when i was little,i related to this story alot..and now,older,i really apperiate this cartoon.c: thanks alot for uploading this.

man i remember watching this cartoon all the time right on my tape. this was such a touching cartoon. glad to see those storeowners got together and gave the children food and stuff. shows how kind some folks really are. especially when it comes to tough times like this.
