I cried the first time I heard this song. Just because of the part saying;

It remembered me of my uncle who died in march this year. :'(

That's Synthpop and not Techno ;) I like the "Melody of this Track, it has a great symbiosis with the Voice of Ronan... It makes me melancholic ~.~

The live version from Pastperfect is way better, (IMO) Forsaken was improvised on the spot while on tour with Covenant in 98' and recorded on Solitary EP as an afterthought. I've always considered the PastPerfect version to be the base due to the quality and refined styling as VNV progressed.

:S this song would be better not as a techo. the techno over rides the awesome lyrics. at some parts you can barely hear them.

but despite that, it's an awesome song ^^.
