why is this not in color. the music is fantastic! those bone heads what were they thinking. they had the technology in '68. they were probably too cheap and didn't put much value in this form of entertainment.

A plain old blues and they makeit sound SO Good . I checked out looking for Freddie Green but Sonny Payne is fantastic !!

I'm sorry have I missed the point of music? I love Miles, Trane and Ornette, but there's never anything wrong with swinging a rhythm changes hard in any era. And none who can do it like this.

Man, that drummer is good. All the stuff he's doing with the high hat while he's brushing the snare is awesome. The tones that come out of Basie's stuff seem to be nice and dark.
