Black Sabbath's Supernaut recorded by 1000 Homo DJs with Trent Reznor on vocals. Great version of a classic Sabbath number - Trents vox are heavy as fuck.

I set the song to vids of some explosions.

BOOM.

I want to reach out and touch the sky
I want to touch the sun
But I don't need to fly
I'm gonna climb up every mountain of the moon
And find the dish that ran away with the spoon

I've crossed the ocean, turned every bend
I found the crossing near a golden rainbow's end
I've been through magic and through life's reality
I've lived a thousand years and it never bothered me

Got no religion, don't need no friends
Got all I want and I don't need to pretend
Don't try to reach me, 'cause I'd tear up your mind
I've seen the future and I've left it behind

  • This is a great version of the classic BS tune. But, this is NOT ficking Tent Reznor. It's AL JORGENSON from Ministry.

  • Nope, it's Trent...

  • YOU SURE.....???????

  • Yes, that's why I put "TRENT REZNOR" in the video's title.

  • Nope it's Trent.

  • Echo?

  • The first version released did have Al's vocals. TVT were being complete asshole's over Trent's participation, so Al re-recorded the vocals, but used Trent's track as his guide vocal. Trent's version later showed up on TVT's Black Box compilation and it's also on Ministry's Greatest Fits album. For some serious fun, play both versions back to back.

  • This was released in a 4 song CD under 1000 Homo DJs.. I used to own this version. I only remember one other song on the album "Better Ways".

  • i have never heard al jourgensen's voice in my entire life, but i know trent's voice. trust me, that is trent reznor singing that song. hands down there is no debate. that is trent mothafuckin reznor of nine inch nails

  • My mistake. 1000 Homo DJs was a side project of Al Jougensen. They released a couple of singles.

  • I was reading in a later interview where Al Jourgensen said that it was really Trent on vocals they just added a lot of compression to make it sound like his voice. After reading that I could make out Trent's voice a little easier.

  • Shit what year was this? Must be 1989/90

  • This version actually was released on a compilation Black Box - Wax Trax! Records: The First 13 Years. It was the only version I'd heard for years, I didn't know there was a Jorurgensen vox version out there till recently.

  • There were (at least) two versions of this song, one with Trent on vocals and one with Al Jourgensen. The one with Trent (this one, btw) was never released due to legal issues Trent was having with TVT Records at the time. I have the CD with Al's vocals and this is definitely the one with Trent singing.

  • What is the actual album? I have this exact song on a nin album. If there is a version by ministry I would love to here that too.

  • No one screams that way... except Trent Reznor
