  • @dvargashell Hell... who cares, right : ) This is one of those times when the minority is in the right.

  • @deSadetheImpaler - I THINK Billy Duffy was also in the SDC...

  • @deSadetheImpaler actually it was taking the words "death cult" along, and then changing it to the cult (yea i know im being annoying :P) but i totally agree with u :P

  • Saw Southern Death Cult in the early eighties at Leicester DeMontfort Hall - helped them load their little van after the gig - actually a single horse trailer - really great people - followed them and saw them many times and also when Ian Astonbury formed Death Cult and then The Cult - felt they lacked the raw edge that this band had at the beginning - too much mixing by a big record label! - Helen

  • Two spooky fellas once tried to convince me to join their band by playing this song. In truth they sounded surprisingly like the record because that too is utter shite. That said, a tab of acid and this on the iPod would probably be the ideal way to get into the mood for a bin bag suicide party 'eh?

  • Southern Death Cult isn't the same as Death Cult and The Cult. Death Cult and The Cult are supergroups and Southern Death Cult was a band.

  • pretty much were it all started for me..after this top of the pops got nailed out in the sun and left for the ants :) hehe

  • this is like the band that goes nowhere

  • Great memories. Late seventies and eighties were such good times for music.

  • @scarlettears17

That is so cool. Amazing story.
