Allison Janney and Oscar winner Sissy Spacek are experienced actresses who know a good thing when they see it. That's why when the opportunity came along to star in the new drama "The Help," they were immediately onboard. The film, based on the best-selling novel, is set in Mississippi during the 1960s. It revolves around a southern society girl (Emma Stone) who returns from college determined to become a writer, but turns her friends' lives—and a small Mississippi town—upside down when she decides to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families.
Bonnie Laufer from http://www.Tribute.ca spoke with Allison and Sissy about playing two very different mothers, the mass appeal of the book and how working on the movie made an impact on their lives.
Sissy Spacek is so funny in this brilliant movie! Without losing her professionalism in acting.
