The northern German city of Kiel lays claim to having the narrowest house in Europe. It's not the smallest - because it does have six stories - but at it's narrowest point, this building is only 80 centimeters wide. Some people might be a bit put off by all the stairs but the owner, architect Bjoern Siemsen, says it keeps him and his family fit. And the view of the city from the top is well worth the climb.
Oh my GOD! this is just fantastic. COOL!!

Must be a pain in the arse to clean the place up...Putting that aside however, it does make a nice way of living :)

Beautiful concept. I'd love to throw a big party in that house - loud music, people getting drunk, random people that I barely even recognise turning up with loads of booze... Looking at both the main building and the studio in the garden, I doubt the architect himself will live here for very long. He's obviously very good and will probably make a lot of money.

I actually have an idea. Why not make the stairs fold and make them like a slide with a press of a button, and then press another button and they go back to normal. :D
