Whether or not I actually feel that way is irrelevant, I was just saying that from a Christian perspective, there is nothing sinful about celebrating Christmas, and that the gentleman to whom I was responding to needs to lighten up.
You make Christmas the holiday it's suppose to be. It's not about the lights tinsel or presents, it's that feeling you get when you know that there is still some good in the word when someone stops and says merry christmas it's not about recieving gifts it's about giving hope and happiness to others around you. And i believe that we need to keep christ in christmas so we can live out the true meaning of the holiday not just on dec. 25th but all yr long.
To those who come to sites such as these to challenge the relevance of our Christmas celebration to the actual event of Jesus' birth:
1) I love it that you don't challenge that Jesus - God Incarnate - existed and was born a human baby. You just disagree on the relevance of that event to our celebration of it. How cool! Jesus is real.
2) What about Easter? Does our celebration correspond to the actual date Jesus rose from the dead - the only person in history to accomplish that feat!
@VILeonidasV - so.... I've studied it extensively and my take on you is that you are simply another anti-Christian troll trying to prove that there is no God or some such crap. What compels you to come to posts like this and make your supercilious self-gratifying comments? Certainly not any sort of admirable character trait.
