  • He was not a futures trader, he was some dope that "bet" his life savings on a Friday that the market would go up. He held long over the weekend and the DOW futures sank about 600 points. He finally sold at the bottom, then the market came soaring back. The rest is You Tube history -LOL!

  • @11mac11s This isn't a fake. It's from MLK Day weekend in Jan 2008. He bought 10 TF (Russell 2k futures) on the Friday. I remember watching the video when he bought them. Then that weekend Soc Gen announced Kierval's $7B trading loss. This guy blasted out of his position in the overnight on Monday (market was closed for holiday). The funny thing was that his position would have been a massive winner had he held until Tues afternoon. He had a $70k account, but 10 TF = $1000 per big point. Oops.

  • @scottab140 whats the url to his blog

  • @tinge34 do u know his blog? whats the url to his blog?

  • what is this guys blog?

  • @tradersplaybook I really wish he would post the Friday video, because this guy was giddy & as high as a kite. I seem to remember he played the national anthem to show his allegiance to the markets. Because the markets were closed on MLK, the drop from Friday meant that the YM (Dow futures) actually went limit down on Tues morning. I remember this because I had been short the YM for about a month. Ended up closing the trade before the market opened. And then saw this hilarious followup video.

  • always prepare for the worst possible scenario, murphys law, whtever can go wrong will go wrong
