No he wasn't; if you notice, he is jumping in an attempt to get the ball, so if anything, he was already "in the air".

He was taken out mid air. It's very, very obvious. Maybe the ESL need the two-referee system. Or even better, the touch judge should have said something.
-
there was 1 in the nrl only this year
-
or not as to get an 8 point try it needs to be a penalty in the act of scoring a try, and seen as when contact was made the cas player didnt have the ball it cant have been in the act of try scoring
-
what new 8 point penalty try system? I recall only ever 1 - Hunslet v Dewsbury, I think - at least 15 years ago!
-
doesnt matter does it when its against leeds, omg i think a war would start if a single decision was ever to go against them!!
We Hattteeee Rhinoosss!!!
Castilidie!
-
that should have been a penalty try with the new 8 point try system
-
Yes he was, but it was accidental, as has been said hall is always looking at the ball, and running at that speed in those conditions there was nothing else he could of done

seems to be a trait lately of the standards of reffing are poor this season. at all games but seems that as soon as cas are doing well it';s as though the officials don't want that makes you sick.
