Simple Minnie and Mickey Costume 2011

Hey everyone! this is my minnie and mickey mouse costume for halloween with my boyfriend nick :) I lost my footage of how to sew my minnie mouse dress :( if you do want to sew it, its basically shapped like a baseball t-shirt for the top, scrunch the sleeves with elastic, then take a wide rectangle of fabric that is about twice your waist and pleat the rectangle along your top as your skirt. add lace to the collar, sleeves and skirt and you have the minnie mouse dress :)

How to make the ears:
-Take a piece of black posterboard and draw 4 circles+small 1 inch rectangles attached.
-glue the rectangle part of the circle to small headbands about 2/3 to the middle of the headband or wherever you feel the ears should go.
-for minnies headband, add on black circle ear then cut out a 4x6 inch rectangle of red and white polkadot fabric, sew together and add a small rectangle wrapping the rectangle in the middle to create a bow.
-slide the bow onto the headband and glue on the other ear.
