Yes, Mister Guy, he could've scurried to higher ground. But he *didn't*. ;-)

(The more important point is that Obi-Wan beat Darth Maul in Episode I, even though Maul had the high ground.)

You know he couldn't scramble up because he was sorta on fire and burning and dying and having a prosthetic arm which wasn't working properly because of the fire more likely. You brought this upon yourself Luke. :P
