A young girl learns to tie shoelaces in a most unexpected circumstance. A short film contest submission. I had two days to write and a few hours to film. Kid actors and their bedtimes!

A few technical things that you could look at. I think that there was a little much blood when she is lying on the bathroom floor. A smear on her arm would have (in my opinion) had more of an emotional impact than the globs. Also the shot at 3:16 looked a little home video for me. All around though a thoroughly professional film and being very honest it moved me to tears. Great Job and keep putting that 35mm adapter to good use

dude this short film was off the charts I was actually moved to tears by the child tying moms shoe and tickling her. Very good work. I am definately going to try that 35 mm filter.
