@ciccioxx92 In the UK it is not a necessarry ATC call :)
-
@Tovkal They never say heavy in Europe it's only in USA that they call widebody aircraft heavy.
-
poor landing
-
SNOWBIRD 131 not 7131
-
Yeah it's hard and very time consuming on longer videos, if anyone wants to check out my channel I have more ATC recordings with subtitles of london
-
Its not 7131 its Snowbird 131
-
and to add to that the spoilers came up very late if you look closley so it's probably an emty aircraft.
-
maybe it's an empty aircraft, or a very light payload or it's got low fuel, that's what an ex-Gatwick and London City atc controller told me.
-
Tower controllers only use heavy at the end when they are requesting taxi, IFR clearance etc, then they are generally dropped as the controller knows that a 747 is heavy, its the same with most planes.
I was allowed to do my work experience at EGLL as my dad is a controller there, and all incoming traffic dropped the heavy... :)
why the callsign hasn`t got heavy at the end? It`s a very HEAVY aircraft: B747! Anyway, Good job!!

They should, but that is more important in the approach, not in final. But the rule is to add heavy on each communication.
Regards.

Yes, it's more logical than something related to slats or slats. Added to the video, Thanks!
