This trip begins on the southern end of Lafayette, La and continues along one of the main retail corridors (Johnston St) then culminates on the Northern section on I-10 heading west.

Confusing is right! I've heard all my life and have said it myself that the guy who did the layout for the streets in Lafayette must have been drunk. LOL

On the hanging speed limit sign, I guess its to make sure all the drunk drivers have no excuse for speeding. (LoL) Seriously there are a few around the city especially near wooded intersections.
