A couple of days walking from Byrness to Wooler in the most remote part of England and Wales, alongside the border with Scotland.

The weather was especially tricky this time.

  • I'm a big fan of the OMM Villian. It's very light, which is my main concern.

Whilst it's very water resistant it is not waterproof so bear that in mind if you're expecting to be out in heavy rain for several hours but that's no different to many packs.

Because it has no frame it can be a bit floppy when you're packing and unpacking.

I've used it on several multi day walks, camping overnight, and its worked very well. There's no sign of wear either.
