Original Clawhammer Banjo Tune played on a Gold Tone BC-350+, Bob Carlin model.
In my search for a deeper sound, wider fingerboard and a scoop, I recently bought myself a BC-350+. Im quite pleased with its sound and playability. I have played my BC-350+ on videos that Ive posted on the Internet and Ive received compliments from others who enjoy its sweet sound as much as I do.
The Gold Tone Carlin has a 12" pot (the standard is 11"). This one is wearing a skin head (how charming).
Bob Carlin talks about the creation his Gold Tone Signature Openback Banjos in an interview with me, Paul Roberts, here:

Please visit my website http://www.banjocrazy.com/ where I have an online business selling Gold Tone banjos. I also have interviews with wonderful banjo players like Adam Hurt, Marcy Marxer, Bob Carlin, Cathy Moore, Cathy Fink and others. I'll be adding tabs and other fun stuff, so keep me posted.

@cfazekas0441 That's a good one. BC-350+ stands for the model number: Gold Tone BC-350+.
But, getting to your point (however humorously you may have suggested it) banjo type instruments have been around for a very long time. How long? We don't really know because of our limited knowledge of human history.

Wow...clearly the ONE person who disliked this video is on a boat on his own.

@Beans000and000Rice I guess we're all on a boat of our own. It's just that everyone else is also on it.
