Grass Widower Blues (Jimmy Page Jam Track)

Howdy y'all! My wife and kids are away for a couple of days and left me with four cats, a dog and seven ducks... yeah! Time to rock'n roll! LOL!

Well, it's been a long time since my last upload, so I think it was about time to make a new video.
This time it's just some bluesy jam stuff to a backing track I downloaded for free from jamtracks, I believe...
I really enjoy playing to it, but as you know - you always play the best stuff when no one is listening...
A beer helps, and this time it's a Spendrup's Premium Gold 5,9%, my favorite... ☺

Ok, recording equipment: Music Man Luke -95 played both with fingers and with my favorite pick - Brossard Picks -The Bone, Marshall JVM410H (EL34's are replaced with KT77's and the 12AX7 in the V2 position is replaced with a Tungsram 12AT7), occasionally I use a Fulltone OCD, an isolated speaker cabinet loaded with one celestion G12T-100, miked with a Shure SM57 and a Studio Projects B1 condenser microphone. The microphone preamp is a Line Audio Design 2MP which is a really good and price worthy preamp- made in Sweden!! After that the signal goes into the computer and Cubase SX2 where I make an mp3 file, which I import to the video editing software and mix it with the video camera's sound.

Don't ask what scales I use, 'cause I really don't know what I'm doing, I just play, having fun - even if it doesn't look like it... ;) I'm also aware of my faults... playing over my ability, but frankly - I don't give a damn! ;)

Well I really like the sound/tone you get from the 410. I love my triple rectifier for rock and metal stuff but might consider a 410 for more classic blusey stuff, although maybe a plexi also. What is the boost you are using on top of the head?

@LKrevival It's a Fulltone OCD V.3. I actually sold the 410 and bought a modded Mesa Lonestar... happier than ever now! :D

Marshall JVM 410. I recently tried one out briefly and thought it was good, yours makes me believe they are great. Yours is sounding as good as a JCM 800 though that remark might rub some the wrong way haha.

I love my Mesa but I haven't found that right blusey tone out of it yet compared to a Marshall. Jeez should I get another Marshall arghhh!! haha. Great vid and playing. You don't like EL34 tubes?

@LKrevival Yes, EL34 works fine, but I also like 6L6's... The KT77 is like a mix of both which in my world sounds really great!

But I've got a modded Mesa Lonestar now. Think it sounds pretty brittish too, but more... tasteful, responds better to sensitive playing. Plus... we've alreadey heard the Marshall sounds on a couple of albums, didn't we? ;)

Marshall works, but it's not so exciting to play, and there's something about the treble in those amps that can't be rolled off...
