Fury of IDPs

Police on Saturday teargassed Internally Displaced Persons who had marched to the Nakuru DCs office demanding to be given iron sheets they had been promised. The IDPs who are camping at pipeline in Nakuru, are still living in the same tents they used after post election violence in late 2007. They are accusing the government of neglecting them. The District Commissioner says the iron sheets will only be released after the IDPs have been bought land.
