OK, I wasn't trying to create perfection or amazement, I just wanted to show a short animation featuring the characters I like. The preview I showed Nickelodeon before was quite frowned upon, and personally I don't blame them because its really inferior to this one (check my youtube page for it), but the attitude they gave me afterwards they seemed very unhopeful for me and didn't treat me the same since. THIS is quite the improvement, and the plan I wantd to create. I still feel annoyed, PREVIEWS are previews... not the finished animation.
Anyway the music was temporary; the title works quite well and a pun of the whole animation as well BUT the music in the storry itself wasn't very good. Apparently the winner or runners up (I got nothing FYI) would be able to have a music crew to create the music for the final film... yet the submission needed final music. I could never understand why they wanted complete music if it was going to be changed anyway... oh well.
Despite it's flaws I'm proud of the details and design put into this project, it would have been great if the final music/sound would have been added but oh well. Oh also, if you viewers have watched (or attempted) "Randonation", the "Cooking with Zombies" was the original idea for this show, which was made for that animation.
Cooking with Monsters wasn't the only idea to be made into an animation, I could upload the other ideas I suppose... (CONCEPT... not films... sadly)
... copyright Nickelodeon? I guess...?
-EDIT-
I forgot to mention that I did one minor editing mistake in this film. The bone the monster was holding at the end suddenly dissapears, after he hit the other monster towards the rubbish bin. No big deal but I was originally meant to create a bone-drop effect there. Sadly all the files to this video have been lost now due to a computer "no backup" crash. I'm not upset by it but I would have fixed it if I could. Same reason why I didn't fix the subtitles in "Randonation", though I find it funnier with the mistakes in.
-Additional Edit-
When the zombie gets knocked out at the end of the film, you can see his arm in front of the apple found on the floor. Silly layers... tricks are from Maya.
