@youhenyo Im considering a new giant talon 29er, is the X5 durable? will it handle rough terrain with quick shifting? personally i had two shimanos that never did the job right :(
-
that's what gives to shimano the soft of his components
-
Lucky bastard. All I have is a Shimano Tourney and this is shit.
-
I have an X5 on one bike and SLX w XT RD on the other and I always prefer the crisp shifting of the X5.
-
OK, tenía mis dudas con que grupo iba a equipar mi bicicleta, pero creo que apostaré por SRAM X.5...

man,,,in coclusion,,,,i mean,in my opinion, everyone thinks like that:``if i have shimano on my bike,i will like forever shimano, and reverse with Sram,or if my first bike is equiped with Sram ,i will love it forever.I think all of us should be a little bit more friendly winth the both parts=))

@GekO1 si puede ser , pero si tengo que elegir me quedo cn el saint ademas el sram de este vidio se come el abuso ante el otro
-
are the deore shadow is the same as x5 in movement?
-
@mauri22ist Y un Sram XX o X0 carbono entonces
deore moves because it has more movible parts and that absorb impacts.
i already broke two X.5

At first I watched this video and thought "Wow SRAM FTW"
But then I looked back at my experience. I had a Deore on my old bike for many many years. PERFECT shifts every time.
I've had a X5 on my current bike. It occasionally slipped between 5th and 6th. After having it a whole 2 months it snapped.
Then I see another commenter here has had 2 snap on him.
Then I see you're running the Deore in highest gear (lots of chain slack) & SRAM in medium gear (less chain slack)
Shiz video, BS conclusion
