VSPCA Feeding Program for the poorest of the poor

Vegan (animal product free) feeding program for Visakhapatnam, India's beggars and unfortunates, many of whom also share their food with the street or community dogs. Feeding starving people a vegan diet will keep them alive...but does nothing for their health. Don't they suffer enough?

Most Indians are already vegetarian with lots of dahl, rice and vegetables, these people had a feast with wonderful Indian food sans the ghee and curd replaced with healthful vegetable fat - no living beings suffered and the people are far healthier for it

raultalbot7, it has been proven numerous times that a vegetarian diet is much more healthy than an animal based one. As a former animal consumer, I have seen the difference to my health that this decision has made. Feeding humans anything other than a plant-based diet is selling them short.

This is a wonderful program and I wish it will last. These people get a healthy, nutritious vegetarian meal; I am very glad the VSPCA can do this for the poor people in Visakhapatnam.
