Young Lust solo with my Hiwatt DG-504 (cover)!!!

This is another video to show the sound of the Hiwatt DG-504. On this recording I used the same basic setup as the others but I used mostly gain from the amp by pushing it with the SPF Ego Booster. This is what gives it a "fuzzy" type of a sound. I also used a modded Boss CS-3, and a little bite from a modded Boss Blues Driver just for color. I know the performance isn't perfect, but this is merely to demonstrate the sound.

BTW, how do you like the Ego Booster? Is that another Muff clone?

Thanks man... actually no it's a volume boost pedal. That's what a lot of guys used to use back in the day to get their "fuzz" sound. I love it though. I usually use it to break up a small combo or something at a lower volume. It uses the amps natural distortion rather than getting it from a pedal. It just pushes the preamp beyond what it could do alone. So what you hear in this track is really all HIWATT!

@MGKraest, well thats because Custom hiwatt is the shit and higain series is crap in comparison.. i tried them in a shop last week side by side with you in mind, thats why i wanted to see the difference.. huge difference.

Fuckin wicked. My Hiwatt simply refuses to break-up. I'm about to blow the walls down in my house! Good thing it comes with a built-in OD Channel. :D
