There's really no wrong answer if you choose between the 300 and the Genesis - the Genesis gets a facelift for 2012. How about another challenge with the SRT-8 300 and the Genesis R-spec. It's a battle with the super V8s. MotorTrend should invite the mob bosses with the upgrades.

That's not what I wrote at all. Yes, they have made improvements lately. My point is that is shameful to have taken so long. Also, new improvements or not they have only brought themselves up to par with some of their competitors. They are certainly not leading in any areas. I think I have given them credit, I own a 2010 Ram 5.7.

However that is still no excuse for the garbage they have put out over the years, including recently.

The new Grand Cherokee and Durango are based off the new Mercedes M Class Platform. Seriously, you can look that up in five seconds on Google. Chrysler planned that before Daimler sold off controlling interest. Seriously do a google search for" dodge durango mercedes platform" and scroll down and read the car and driver article.
