had a kid in my cab one night this playing low up front and he asked if I would turn it up-since I've been weaned from the Fillmore West I cranked it up appropriately-dropped him off at the very end of this piece where he simply errupted in disbelief "Who is this?" "Butterfield Blues Band playing East West" I replied and took the tape(remember them?) out asking if he had a player. "Yes!' "Then this is yours." He gave me a twenty,"Keep it.I can't wait to play this again!"He running! YEAH!

question, can someone/does someone know of any tabs or musical sheets for this? i honestly would love to play this. imagine if hendrix had covered this. or cream? or santana? i wish bloomfield had covered this on supper sessions or live with al kooper, with johnny winter or carlos santana. that would have been. . .groovy
