The "accessible" bit is utterly brilliant, but so is the jaw-dropping first part. It's an epic. It's hard picking a favorite Sufjan Stevens song--I have about thirty now all vying for favorite--but my god this song tugs at the heartstrings of both sadness and wonder in such an extraordinary way. Best artist of the past three decades, bar NONE.
