Well this one was bitter sweet. On one hand I'm happy to have that extra 18 million in cap space but on the other this was one of the most dominant Panthers players of all time. If this is it for Julius, good luck reaching your potential elsewhere. Carolina will never forget you!!!

    Jared Allen is a great pass-rusher, but he doesn't play the run.

    Neither do Freeney or Babin.

    Peppers is on another level because he can rush AND he plays the run extremely well.

    Best defensive end in the league.

    Fucking beast against the run / can get to the QB at will.

    Freeney, Allen, Mathis, Babin, and the rest of the "wide-9" pass-rushers who sell out to get sacks aren't on the same level.
