This is our review of Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA, brewed by Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales of Deleware. We did experience some technical difficulty due to the battery life of our camera, so please excuse the abrupt ending of the video. The essence of the review is all there though.
"Too extreme to be called beer? Brewed to a colossal 45-degree plato, boiled for a full 2 hours while being continuously hopped with high-alpha American hops, then dry-hopped daily in the fermenter for a month & aged for another month on whole-leaf hops!!!
Our 120 Minute I.P.A. is by far the biggest I.P.A. ever brewed! At 20% abv and 120 ibus you can see why we call this beer THE HOLY GRAIL for hopheads!"
@Chad9976 It has changed. It used to be brewed to about 20-21% but they decided to tone it down to around 18% for a better balance in flavor.

An aged 120!! Wow nice.. let me know how that tastes... I'm curious if some of the sugars in the 120 will continue to ferment when aged.. Let me know!

120, Raison D'Extra, and WW Stout are basically sugar bombs loaded with dextrose (corn sugar). There's enough alcohol in these to burn up your vocal cords & make you sound like a 5 pack a day smoker. Down a couple of these skull splitters & your head will be visiting the toilet for the better part of the night.

The 120 minute is the king of ALL beers. The Raison D'Extra, and WW Stout are 2nd and 3rd.
