This video shows how to get started in Brainwave Sequencer.

Brainwave is a clip based MIDI sequencer for the IPad. Bring your melodies and drum beats into life with the streamlined and intuitive MIDI clip editor. Assemble and arrange entire songs with the Arrangement editor. Control up to 16 instruments using the built-in sampler. Use the built-in audio samples to quickly get up and running, or use your own samples for even more creative sounds. Then produce and export MIDI files to be imported to your favourite Digital Audio Workstation software. All this inside of an ergonomic and minimalist user interface that will help get your inspiration to fruition.

  • @BeatMakerTV I also hear popping or crackling in the bass, which I thought was due to my misusing the program.

Is there a manual? or some other "how-to" documentation?

  • From the first few notes of the bass line I got excited for a moment and thought you were going to do an Assault on Precinct 13 cover.! :) Good demo though.

  • Awesome! Thanks for the tutorial, it's very helpful.

  • Dude this looks serious. Very cool it's like a giant piano roll. The way all the clips can be arranged with their own piano roll with sound modification is very cool. I was hoping you would make a video showing the app. This app looks very much worth the money. I just picked up korgs iMS 20 since it will be going up in price but next month I hope to pick up this app and try it out. Good luck with sales and hope your hard work pays off.

  • Very Helpful. Been waiting for a vid. I hear a little popping in the bass sample, but otherwise I like it and the sample editing features should take care of that. CoreMidi would take this over the top. I'll give it a spin!
