CSDP 2009 Awards

The 2009 Curry Stone Design Prize is awarded to bold and transformative public works in Medellín, Colombia that revitalized the poorest areas of the city (Alejandro Echeverri and Sergio Fajardo); the reclamation of traditional craftsmanship with a modern twist in rural Bangladesh (Anna Heringer); and a vibrant global grassroots movement committed to carbon-neutral living (Rob Hopkins.) Finalists are recognized in the award ceremony at the IdeaFestival in Louisville, Kentucky.
