@sonnych69 Thank you sir I agree. Thanks I am a 4th Dan Hapkido Won Jin Hapkido, I have wrestled for 37 years, I am Judo Black Belt, I have Black Belt in Kenpo, and I started Gracie Ju-Jitsu in 1990 under Prof. Pedro Sauer. I am a 3rd Dan Black belt in Ju-Jitsu
@MasterHatfield if you look at bjj the standing self defense its essentially japanesse jujitsu . standing arts and grappling u can say pankration . indian arts to chinese arts / mongolian wrestling transitioning to the ryu islands or okinawa which the four arts with chinesse circular to incorporate into the islands TE style which transitions to the japanesse style korean had thier style of combat , sserium and hwarang which was influenced by japanesse arts later on but itsall loose history
@MasterHatfield yes i do know where the arts come from .. i study judo and im always trying to make statement about how bjj is from judo newaza which known as kosen judo or the newaza which kano try to seperate from the throwing tech. ever heard of Tsunetane oda ? or mifune? when maeda taught judo to helio the name was in transition from kano ju jitsu to judo . the jiu used in bjj was used to show distintion between japanesse ju jitsu and brasilian jiu jitsu
KJJ is from real ways read here Choi_Yong-Sool, who his Master? Takeda Sōkaku, the founder of the Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu system, which is a Japanese martial arts system emphasizing empty handed methods based upon the sword styles and jujutsu tactics in which Takeda was an expert.
@sonnych69 That is very interesting but I had to say do you understand the roots of where BJJ comes from? where Judo came from? Where Hapkido came from? and Where JJJ comes from? or Korean JJ? Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is from a Judo style that was tought from a ground work understanding of the RYU style. In Gracie Jui-Jitsu they always have had strikes, throws, and ground work. It was only through sport they went mostly to grappling.
I THINK YOU SHOULD CHANGE THE SPELLING FROM JIU TO JU JITSU CAUSE IF U SPELL IT JIU IT MEANS IT HAS BRAISILIAN INFLUENCE AND IT DOESNT FROM WHAT I READ ITS PRIMARILY JUDO AND HAKO RYU JU JITSU PLUS STRIKING .. EVERY ONE BEEN BRAIN WASHED TO WRITE IT JIU WHICH IS THE BRASILIAN TRANSLATION OF JU ... EXAMPLE ITS JU DO NOT JIU DO IT JUST SHOWS THE DISTINTION BETWEEN JAPANESSE ARTS
@fatmelonn I think the closest is in brazil, i think the name of the master is M. Salgado if you want try get in touch with him. I hope it helps a little, I practice GKYS in spain and is an awesome art!!! good luck!
это очень эффективно для борьбы против одного противника, но не подходит для самозащиты на улице- получишь нож в спину.
