I tried my own NIN Video in the year 2000, shooting with an actor for the song "somewhat damaged" trying to show the guys described mentally condition. So he is not singing to the lyrics... he is complaining that "everything you said is different now"...

i do like the symbolism but i guess it will/can not be approciated by everybody because some people won't understand it, unless youre formiliar with the lyrics...
I think NIN is great to put those kind of feelings in music, maybe its all pessimistic but its the recognition that makes it beautiful... (respect)
