June 30, 2010 Fort Worth, Tx.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Department said 61-year-old Nancy Hatch Weatherly was found dead in her rural home off FM 2331. It appears she was the victim of a home invasion.
Police believe the suspects are tied to the shooting of a Budweiser employee in front of the Buy & Save convenience store on Azle Ave and also think the duo know something about someone who fired at a Lowe's worker just before the home improvement store opened off Loop 820 and Quebec Street, just a few miles from the convenience store shooting.
During a news conference on Wednesday, police said the men could be tied to a long string of other Fort Worth crimes, such as pistolwhipping, carjacking and an aggravated robbery.
