That's a misconception. Many poor "red neck Bible Thumpers" vote Republican and many rich liberals vote democrat. I guess this is a misconception that Al Jazeera has not covered yet.

To answer the first part: Bush AND the American people fucked up the economy. As did LBJ, and ever president who did not shut down those firms.

The Second: Turns out he had already used them all on the Iranians and Kurds.

Another book one might read to get a better understaning on American government and it's power is Understanding Power, noam Chomsky. Views that I am assuming you have, people like you and I won't get on the media, they don't want people speaking truth to power.

working class?? you need to come to america. We call ourselves "lower middle class" haha. If just rich people voted republican bush wouldn't be in office. the religious right also votes republican. Fucking "Value voters". Not too forget historicaly the democrats have started more wars then republicans. (like vietnam). Also, we have an all volutenteer army. So, the poor/working class sometimes choose the military as a way to pay for college or just better thier life in general.

Loved it, however you should have gotten together a little one minute video of each person expressing there views and concerns etc. After showing them each others together as a group the reactions would have made great reality TV journalism.
