Gil Hatton and Matt Diefenbach finish in front of Rite-Aid team Beers and Begemann, only to be disqualified for a dangerous move in the back straight. The commentator at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center certainly set the scene for an aggressive race, and the riders certainly came through with that. The riding was too aggro for the judges, though. For my part, I'm glad nobody was hurt. Hatton left room to his left and Beers took the chance. What Hatton did next was indeed breaking the rules IMHO.
