  • One day a librarian sees a chicken walk up to her desk and cluck, "book-book-book- BOOOOOK."

She follows the chicken while it pecks at six books and pulls out a library card.

The next week the whole sequence happens again, and the curious librarian follows the chicken to see where it's going with all these books.

She follows it to a pond, where the chicken gives the books to a frog, who glances at the titles and throws them aside, saying "readdit! readdit! readdit!

  • As a college student, this looks very interesting and could be quite useful.

  • Uh, these have been around for quite a while now... I remember using these things a decade ago in middle school.

  • One day we will have robot teachers.

  • how is it useless?

  • Useless really :|

  • What has been your experience with school? Without a doubt there have been educators who "just don't get it" and have no or a negative effect on students, but when education works, when the teacher and students "click", there is an invaluable sharing of knowledge and insight. Free thinking, as you say it, comes from the ability to make reasoned judgments, not just filling your head with facts. I don't think anything should replace the human interactivity of the classroom.

  • M.C are good, but shouldn't be the only kind of tests, since you can answer by luck, or just with what seems the most logical answer... Hope they are still using the traditional kind of questions, with more elaborate answers... And hope tomorrow's generation will still be able to write...
