Omg what a timer my school had. We just started working on the "World in conflict" chapter, and we are nearing christmas so we watched this movie to show us the biggest battlefield "conflict" that occured. My god. I kinda cried, the guys laughed at the singing and the girls did'nt understand shit. Why did i have to be in such a douchebag class?

@MegaGayCunt Seriously?! This had nothing to do with religion. My great-grandfather was one of those who laid down his rifle on Christmas Eve. He was Irish- if he had wanted to make his beef with the world about religion, he could have just stayed home. This war was about freedom.

@FlashFire20 We were 13 - 14 years old last year. Telling you our age is easier since Norway have a diffrent school system than other countries. The girls didn't get this movie the same way they don't get any movie we watch. We saw a movie about a Norwegian warhero from WW2, Max Manus, and they asked who the bad guy was and what was going on, instead of actually paying attention. They also can't seperate reality and fiction during a movie. Even during a documentary.

Ok, I'm usually not one to get sentimental, or all warm and fuzzy over War, or Holiday movies...however I must recommend this film...it's incredibly touching

@MegaGayCunt all the countries in ww1 had the same God dont comment on what you dont understand and religion has not been a cause for war in centuries its all about money and revenge for decades of built up hate and before you start saying that Christians and Jewish peoples religions are different there basically not, do they all follow the 10 commandments? yes. so again learn your facts before spitting whatever you "think" is correct all over the internet

What's sad it that from what I've seen in the comment box, this movie hasn't brought us closer together but instead made us conflict with each other. Can we all just agree that it was a beautiful movie, take a lesson from the movie, and all be brothers and sisters.
